Even though Latvijas balzams was founded in 1900, the history of several of its products dates back even further, right back to the 17th and 18th centuries and beyond. As an example, the company’s Commercial Director Aigars Ģērmanis mentions the unique beverage Riga Black Balsam, which of cially dates back to 1752 “We have the honour of working with one of the oldest brands in the global alcohol industry”.
